Craniosacral Therapy (CT) is a light-touch approach that can create dramatic improvements in your life.  It releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. 

CT is a subtle and profound healing form, which aids the natural bodily intelligence (both the central and the autonomic nervous systems), by assisting to remove impediments to the flow of cerebrospinal fluid which have been created within the cranium and spinal cord. 

A very gentle touch is used to 'listen' to the slow pulsation generated by the cerebrospinal ebb and flow throughout the whole body tissue to find where the motion is disturbed or affected by constriction or resistance within the body structure, and consequently where the body function is being affected. The therapeutic side of the work is in helping the body re-establish the original movement flow by assisting in the resolution of any resistance patterns.

Because it is so gentle, Craniosacral therapy can be effective for all ages, from newborns to seniors.

 By carefully listening with the hands to locate areas of weak fluid flow or tissue motion, Kari can trace those areas of weakness through the body to the original source of dysfunction.

 Delicate manual techniques are then used to release those problem areas and improve the form and function of your central nervous system.

A cranial session can last up to an hour or more.  It can be used alone or with other therapies to create powerful results.  Depending on your unique situation, Kari may use a combination of Quantum Biofeedback, Reiki, and Craniosacral Therapy during her session(s) with you.

What you experience from your own session is highly individual.  The sessions are generally deeply relaxing, creating feelings of warmth or gentle pulsing in the areas that being worked on. 

Electro-Hypnosis

Packages of 5: $75/session

Packages of 10: $70/session

A minimum of five sessions are recommended for electrohypnosis.   If you are interested in weight loss, 10 weekly sessions are recommended.  Kari offers a special rate of $60/session for clients enrolled in her 10-week weight loss program.  She will apply this rate to any weekly, 10 week package commitment.

Electro-hypnosis helps reinforce positive affirmations determined by you and Kari to support  your goals.  Electro-Hypnosis is excellent for weight-loss, smoking cessation, and addictions (e.g. sugar, pain medication, and more).  Essential oils are used to reinforce client affirmations.

Quantum Biofeedback 

Initial Biofeedback Session:  $185 (~2 hours)  Hourly Biofeedback Sessions:  $90/hr

Quantum Biofeedback (QB) is applied through the use of a device called the EPFX (Electro Physiology Feedback Xxroid); an incredible accurate system based on the science of Quantum Physics.  It is am emerging technology that reads the body at biological speeds (the speed of a computer) providing results within minutes as opposed to days and weeks.

QB is a technique in which people are trained to improve their health by using signals from their own body.

The easiest way to understand what QB can do is to think in terms of stresses or stressors - all those things we are born with, or that happened to us, or that get into the body from the environment that cause disease.  

QB is totally non-invasive.  The EPFX requires only five comfortable straps that wrap around your wrists, ankles, and forehead.  A quick three-minute test is performed energetically and the results are fed into the computer software.  Test results provide Kari with information about the state of the energy and stress(es) most prevalent in the body at that time.  

After gathering test results, the data offers an understanding of your potential needs.  The EPFX can reveal the specific stressors which could be the underlying issues surrounding your body's ability to heal.  QB can then be applied in order to help you correct and reduce the stressors energetically.

The EPFX Quantum Biofeedback System is entering the third decade of its development journey, and is leading the field of Bio- Energetic and Bio-Response measurement.  It is the accepted standard for the application of Quantum Biofeedback, and is incredibly accurate. The EPFX takes a multitude of different stress reduction programs, methods, and techniques, and merges them into a more simple, best overall, well rounded approach.

Reactivity results are based upon the ability to establish a "Tri-Vector" connection for an energetic "3-Dimensional" view of the client's current reactions to over 10,000 different items.  This is accomplished completely independent of user influence to help avoid bias or error.  Once established, the  Quantum Biofeedback auto-focus program, designed to monitor a client's reactions, helps optimize the quality and quantity of the stress reduction results.

Reiki

Reiki Energy Therapy is a natural healing technique based on life force energy which flows through all living things, nourishing organs and cells, balancing the whole being – body, mind, emotions, and spirit. 

Universal life force energy, the qi in traditional Chinese medicine, and prana in Ayurvedic medicine, responds to thoughts and feelings and can be disrupted by negativity, diminishing the function throughout the body. Reiki healing brings positive energy, frees blocked energy, and returns a natural healthy life force flow. 

Receiving Reiki is a gentle, soothing experience were the practitioner places her hands on or just above her client’s fully clothed body in a series of hand positions.  During this time, Kari channels healing energy, allowing the individual to release stress, tension, anxiety, negative feelings, and/or emotional, physical, and spiritual pain.

Reiki Attunements 

Kari offers individual Reiki Energy Therapy treatments, Reiki training, and attunements for individuals desiring to learn more about Reiki or become Reiki practitioners.

All of Dr. Kari's services support stress reduction, and Kari weaves her gifts to support your needs for optimal wellness.

Insurance: 

Dr. Kari does superbilling and is listed with major insurance companies.  You pay at the time of your session, and submit the invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement.

About Kari Uselman, Ph.D. 

Kari Uselman, Ph.D., is the owner of Wellness Essentials, LLC, which is located at the Harmony Wellness Center.  Uselman's stress reduction wellness practice includes Quantum Biofeedback, Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Electro-Hypnosis, Combination Homeopathy, and Holistic Wellness Education. 

Kari specializes in EPFX Quantum Biofeedback and has been trained through the Quantum Alliance under the umbrella of the Neurotherapy and Biofeedback Certification Board.  She has participated in advanced training with William Nelson, Ph.D., developer of the EPFX device; Dr. Steven Small, MD, referred to as the Doctor of the Stars; Dr. Paul Drouin, MD/PhD, President of IQUIM; Susan Blackard, PhD/RN, former head of the #1 Integrative Medicine Hospital in the Nation, and now the head of her own Integrative Clinic; Faith Nelson, PhD/RN; Bill Cunningham, PhD., Owner of White Dove, and developer of combination Homeopathy; Ginger Bowler, PhD, affiliated with Hanna Kroeger's work; and Levi Baxa, prodigy of William Nelson.  

Uselman is also a craniosacral practitioner trained through the Upledger Institute founded by John E. Upledger, D.O./O.M.M.  Her craniosacral skills include advanced techniques in TMJ and release of trapped energy cysts in the body.  She works with infants to seniors.

Kari has been facilitating Reiki for over a decade, and became a Reiki Master Teacher in 1998.  Kari is certified in the Usui Reiki Method, and has been drawn to mind, body, spirit energy healing since she was a child. 

She is also certified in Pilates, and offers private and corporate Pilates classes.  Kari teaches Pilates at Inner Sun Yoga Studio in Oshkosh.  Corporate Clients include the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). 

Dr. Kari has studied and participated in wellness education programs and practices for over 20 years.  She continues to expand her knowledge base through continuing education with the International Quantum University of Integrative Medicine (IQUIM) and the Upledger Institute.
